Fortunately, the Borganization is so ineptly run (and getting more so as good people leave) that individuals are losing their blinders on a daily basis. When a Borg screwup affects you personally, that's when you're more willing to entertain the thought that they might not be all they claim to be.
the watch tower society, the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses, the faithful and discreet slave, and the governing body of jehovah's witnesses, last week issued a "special" letter to all bodies of elders in the state of victoria instructing them to immediately apply for their working with children licenses and to comply with child protection laws.
the letter includes instructions that the contents are not to be made public or shared with members of the congregation.. .
this means an investigation authorized by the governing body of jehovah's witnesses and initiated by lawyers representing the watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, inc. have concluded that the victorian working with children act 2005 and the associated child protection laws do indeed apply to all elders serving in congregations throughout the state of victoria both in the public ministry and in their internal ministry, which includes the theocratic ministry school.. .
Borg attorneys aren't stupid. My guess is they have been removing known pedophiles either from their position as elders in Victoria or physically moving them out of the state (or is it province?) of Victoria prior to sending this letter to the Victorian congregations. They would never allow these background checks to go forward if they knew some pedos would turn up. (of course, there could be pedos that the Borg is unaware of)

Seems to me that the best way to hurt the Borg is to publish Watchtower articles from the kool-aid edition. They come off as loony and culty enough without any of our additional commentary.

Leadership HAS aged and younger ones HAVE taken their place. Not one GB member from Ray Franz's time is still alive. The OLDEST GB member was appointed to the body in 1994. This IS the new regime.

What do you want to bet the Borg has gone through its list of elders in Victoria and had any pedos kicked down to MS or lower status before sending this letter? Guarantee there will be no pedos discovered in these checks; that doesn't mean there aren't any in the Kingdom Halls.

i expect that the borg will stop distributing the koolaid wt online, at least to where anyone can download it.
i expect that they will require the jws to create logins and passwords to access the study edition, somehow tying that that back to what congregataion you're in and maybe even an elder approving that you attend.
I think they will get more and more insular over time. It is what cults do.
I don't know if the membership/login thing will go live due to the current news cycle but I suspect it will eventually.
